You totally hit the nail on the head. Strong and brave are the perfect summary and what’s crazy is we don’t even choose to be like this, we ‘have’ to be like this to survive it all.
I’m so happy this article resonated with you. I understand how easy it is to get caught up in the pain and affliction of this stuff that we may not see the work of art we are becoming. Yes, we are incredible indeed! I just wish everyone suffering through it became aware of how powerful and amazing they really are.
Well done getting to the milder part of TSW!! Hopefully you will be able to look back very soon at the incredible journey you made and stare at your beautiful skin with an appreciation unlike any other 🙂

I love this – it put a smile on my face so thank you for sharing your fantastic writing gift and your experience of going through this crazy journey of healing. I am more at the mild end of tsw, and knowing how challenging I have found it I can not even find the words to describe how STRONG and BRAVE and INCREDIBLE those people are who are going through full blown withdrawal and healing. Honestly, the strength of the human spirit bowls me over. This is a keeper I shall refer back to time and again and I hope many others get to read it as it’s all so true…a reminder that this experience can be and deep and meaningful after all is said and done.
